Cool Stuff I Like
October 7, 2011
I might have to do what you see above to one of my pumpkins.
What I want to know is, IS IT TOO EARLY TO BEGIN CANDY CORN CONSUMPTION? I got a rad witch hat, which is going to be a big step up from my usual Halloween costume which consists of me wearing my pajamas and pigtails for my ‘baby’ costume. I highly suggest you try this costume. Just put on your jammies and hold a stuffed animal and do the pigtails. Costume achieved! (Note: Ridiculousness also achieved.)
Julia really wanted me to be a leopard/cheetah/ocelot/whatever-the-heck-her-costume-is with her but then I got a gander at the price for the matching Mom cheetah costume. Um, that’s a big negativo. Mama is just going to put on the hat and black clothes and call it a day!
Let’s see some COOL STUFF shall we?
Check out this Poptart Cat video. (Feel free to lose your mind if you watch it for the full 3 minutes. My husband felt the need to send this link to me. Oh and Julia thought it was FANTASTIC. I’m guessing you will also be able to entertain/mindlessly amuse your child with this.)
Lego Haunted Houses.
Cookie Cutter Ginger Crisps!!
LOTS of fun Halloween craft/treat ideas right here. (via OneCharmingParty)
Just saw these FAB Halloween cards over at Not Your Average Ordinary.
An entire blog devoted to vintage Halloween! I admire the commitment.
Cool Book of the Week: ‘Skelly The Skeleton Girl’ by Jimmy Pickering. Not scary! CUTE. Julia thinks it’s adorable and she’s read it three times in the past 48 hours. All about a friendly little skeleton girl who’s looking amongst her sweetly spooky pals to see who will claim ownership of the missing bone she found. Did you know that ghosts don’t have bones? Yep.
HAVE A MARVELOUS WEEKEND! What are you up to?
