Jerry Seinfeld Halloween

I had no idea this book existed before yesterday. Julia's teacher had it and let me borrow it.

OMG the funny. It's fine for ages 6 and up, but truly it would be best for the 8-10 year old range. Because by then, a kid has had a few years under his or her belt when it comes to suffering the indignities of unwanted forms of candy and costumes that don't quite measure up to the lofty ideals of imagined Halloween perfection.

This pretty much makes my Halloween happiness utterly complete.

  2. This looks hilarious. I love that last image with all the candy wrappers strewn across his bedroom floor. No wonder he felt like Superman! LOL

  4. You know, I remember when that book came out, but I don't think I ever picked one up and opened it. Now I so wish I had. :o)

  5. My husband and I LOVE Seinfeld so I got this book as soon as it came out. Cracks me up. The kiddos not so much. How can I be raising children that don't appreciate this?

  6. I thought it was just priceless! It's just like Seinfeld speaking like he would in a routine, only kid-friendly-ified. That said, I think it would resonate most with people who have been through a lot of their childhood years already, to really get what he's talking about. I definitely loved it a lot more than my daughter did, but she had a good time. She just wasn't rolling on the floor about it like I was! :)
