Winter Wedding

You can tell a lot about my relationship with my husband from these photos. Especially that last photo. That's pretty much our relationship, right there. Me yapping about something random, and Andrew's like, 'What are you TALKING about??'  And I'm like, No you seriously need to listen to whatever this random thing that I'm saying. Was that even English just now? I just made every writing professor I ever had tremendously sad. Andrew and I got married 8 years ago, and it was a Christmasy wedding. When we look at wedding pix now, we start yelling, 'WE LOOKED SO YOUNG!!!'.

    1. The only thing with the Christmas wedding is that we never had a honeymoon, because it was Christmas not long after the wedding and we didn't feel like it was a good time to go away! maybe when julia goes off to college, we'll go have a honeymoon :)

  5. These picture are fantastic! I love looking and wedding photos and love all the personality that shows through in yours. And your train was SO elegant, Christmas decorations are the best wedding decorations. We got married on Dec 27... and it's going to be a decade for us! (and speaking of babies we certainly were, both of us were barely 22) maybe I'll throw a few pix up for the event, I'm sure trapper would LOVE that... ha ha ha.

    1. Oh wow Robyn!! we were both Christmas brides, so cool! I loved my veil, way more than the dress -- when I wore it I felt very bridally. I adored that thing. I wonder if Julia will want it? (prolly not, knowing her)

  6. Oh, wonderful! Happy, happy anniversary! My 10th anniversary was this past September, but we're all getting ready to be in my little sister's wedding on Saturday! Two days! EEK!

And omigosh! Was your cake covered in chocolate icing, too? I refused to have a white wedding cake. It was chocolate, with chocolate buttercream, with chocolate-covered strawberries cascading down the side.

  10. Beautiful pictures! Happy anniversary!

My photographer didn't get the memo about the mandatory makeup application pics. Instead I have a bunch of me looking in the mirror randomly poking at my hair in a completely staged way.

    Mmmmm...chocolate and orange...I knew I liked you! :)
