A Dark and Stormy Night

May your days from now until Halloween be cheerily spooky.......

We lost power a couple of weeks ago, and it was tremendously exciting for the kiddo. We decided that the appropriate course of activity would be to light a ton of candles around the house and then take pictures of ourselves and the cats in ghostly poses.

Then I got scared that the cats would knock candles over, so I put the big ones in the sink. It was all very very fun. And yet when the power came back on in the middle of the night, I was like "THANK YOU ELECTRIC COMPANY."

I am so so so thankful that I live in a time where electricity exists.

Also. Creepy children in scary movies. Most terrifying thing ever right?

    1. I think Julia would love it if our power went out on a regular basis. It was kind of a relief to be cut off from Facebook, ha!

  2. You are such a cool mommy! I am thankful too for living in this era! That unicorn staring back in the dark was a bit creepy LOL I usually try to never watch or read anything having to do with horror stories, especially when it comes to children and dolls. Scares the heck out of me!
