Friends, I find this hilarious. I'm the girl who takes pix of her cats being carried in baskets. But some kind folks have actually given me some financial compensation to photograph them, so I figured I should make a little official collection of my non-cat-in-basket photos.
You can see them at melissaglynnphoto.com.
(Actually, a picture of my cat Sally might or might not wind up in my 'Life' category of photos.)
You should go check it out! But if you are too tired to check it out, I have helpfully provided some photos here as well:
And if you're somewhere in the Seattle-ish area and want some portraits, family sessions, maternity shoots, maybe a wedding if you aren't a crazy bride and don't mind my lack of wedding experience, or even pictures of your kitty cats, well shoot me an email at melissa@melissaglynnphoto.com.
If you want to read more about my picture taking philosophy, read this.
Despite my inability to control my humor (??) on my blog, I take photography very seriously and think that the best photos are the ones that tell visual stories. And we all know I love stories!
(*Note: I will crawl on the floor, your furniture, maybe even on you, but I will not force your kids to smile.)
Really. Go 'like' my Facebook page! xoxoxoxo
Congratulations on your new Photography Website! I love the layout and the clean lines! It's beautiful and so are your pictures!!!! Your "About" section is very well written (I kept nodding my head while reading) and it's just so you :) I wish you much success on your new venture!
ReplyDeleteAndrew helped me so much in setting up the website -- for such a minimalistic design, it was tricky tricky to set up. Many hours and weeks of work!!!! I tried to be less stupid over there writing than I am here, but at the end of the day.....I gotta be me! :)
DeleteCongratulations on your new website. Your photos are lovely! I especially love all the ones under "life"! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI'm selling a few of those as prints! The first one is of Iao Valley in Hawaii, and I'm going to see what sizes of those would work best for the photo, and figure out some pricing for it.
DeleteGreat pics! I don't have much talent for photography.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amanda! I've loved it since I was a teen.
