Books from Anthropologie
December 12, 2013
If I could afford it, I would wear nothing but Anthro clothes, eat off of Anthro plates, drink from Anthro cups, all WHILST sitting against their pillows and walking on their rugs, AND then I'd frolic all over their settees. I'd end the day by washing my hands with some of their soap or hand cream. Maybe I'd pause and write a note on their notecards to my BFF Nigel Slater. (Nigella, you have become too complicated for me, but I still love you, even though your gingerbread turned out really weird and it totally wasn't my fault.)
their $1200 SLED. I'm not going to link to all of these GORGEOUS books, you can head over to the kids' section and check them all out. But I would like to point out that while I give MEGA POINTS to their book buyer and/or department, they are selling their books for far more than you would pay for the same books at Amazon or Barnes & Noble. Like as much as $5 to $6 to $7 more.
Why is that, I wonder? If they were a little independent bookstore, I'd go for it, but someone has to explain this pricing business to me I guess, because I don't grasp it. Anthro is not a little independent bookstore.
ANYWAY. Their selection of books is totally enchanting and each one looks worthy of being a gift. You just might want to shop and price around, is all I'm saying....(*cough, look at Amazon or B&N)
