22/52

(a portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week in 2014)

Julia: at the most magical farm (post coming soon!) filled with every kind of baby animal you can think of...even ferrets.

So as I mentioned before, summer schedule is in place, wherein I'll be posting 3x during the workweek (a book post, a non-book post and my Friday post) and I'm going to be real shorty with Project 52 posts on the weekends. Because you know, it's SUMMER. Off to see 'Maleficent'!!

P.S. I used my friend's iPhone to take all the farm pix because I was an IDIOT and didn't bring a camera and oh my gee, i DO NOT know how to handle a camera phone. Some people make great art with theirs, and wow I just do not know what I am doing at all. Wowza. How do you guys use these things???

  1. We got to pet a baby bunny yesterday too!!! Little Miss C. was in love with the "Bun Bun". Sorry I haven't commented lately... I've been reading but life has been a bit crazy 'round these parts lately. I'm just today feeling better from a nasty virus that knocked me flat for an entire week.

I hope you're enjoying the start of summer! Yesterday was our first day of summer vacation. Woot!

  2. Awesome picture. I can't wait to see more baby animals.

I adore my smart phone. I become my main camera these days.

    1. I had never used one ever before in my life! I know so many people, that's all they use. And there are wonderful editing programs for them these days, I was just very confused. Where are the settings? Is there a zoom? How close/far is this going to turn out? It was a whole different experience - It was like I had never taken a picture before!

  3. Enjoy Maleficent! Can't wait to see the farm post! J looks so sweet with the bunny. My girls were pestering me for a bunny the other day. No way, I said. But to go somewhere to pet one would be nice!

  4. Adorable picture! You remind me I have to take my daughter to a petting farm. She loves baby animals and does "aaaw" when she sees them. I only take pictures with my smart phones. I have a crappy camera that takes too long to charge and to take photos so I never use it. Also, I already carry so much in a diaper bag that I really don't care to log around an extra item when I have a cellphone/camera handy. There is a zoom and macro function on my camera but to be honest, I have not used up all the special features like light/special effects etc. You can edit as well but again, I have not explored those functions (I really should though!)
