Ah the princess dress! And dancing in the yard too! Too cute for words! I was 9 years old when I was asked to wear a puffy princess dress for a parade. We were a bunch of little girls and were expected to sit on a flower boat. Don't remember much about the parade but I was so happy just to wear the dress LOL Little girls are just too cute!
never had a princess dress growing up. true story. I did however, have a really beautiful and fairly princessy fancy blue dress for a wedding I had to attend when I was 9....and I felt so special and awesome in that dress!
My girl declared two days ago that "She doesn't care about princesses anymore, she is a TOMBOY." Since then she has changed her favorite color from pink to blue, started wearing gym shorts and teeshirts instead of tutus and princess dresses, and requested a "less-pink jewelry box". I am waiting to see how long this phase lasts, because she has been obsessed with princess-ness since she was old enough to know about them (and now she is 5). Perhaps if I show her your pictures she will be re-inspired =)
